GRUET ABQ TASTING PATIO

Gruet Albuquerque is the largest urban winery in North America and recently renovated its wine tasting room within the warehouse facility where some of the highest rated sparkling wines in the country are produced. Our team was tasked with renovating an outdoor patio to provide a new environment for guests to enjoy wines while being outside, and to celebrate the remarkable views to the western skies during the Balloon Fiesta every October.

Surroundings created an intimate patio space that adjoins an existing demonstration vineyard for guests, as well as an improved parking area and paths that more clearly define the almost invisible entrance to the wine tasting space inside. In the middle of the central patio space, a boulder water feature provides a respite of sight and sound on a hot day to calm the sounds of the freeway nearby.
