CIMARRON CANYON PARK

Cimarron Canyon Park is an engaging new community park in the Cimarron community of El Paso, Texas. It features nature play areas for 2 to 5 and 5 to 12-year-olds, an open lawn that can host outdoor movies and other events, and a new BMX pump track. The site slopes down 25 feet from south to north, which challenged our design team to solve complex ADA issues, as well as create engaging green infrastructure features throughout the park to benefit vegetation and reduce downstream run­off.
